All of us can remember a Christmas that was way out beyond any other we can recall. There was the Christmas when you got that special gift you had been hinting about. You didn't really believe it would happen, but you allowed yourself to dream, hoping it just might happen. You could imagine yourself playing with the gift, using it, enjoying it, and promising that you would take care of it and it would stay with you until you were an adult. How could mom and dad resist that kind of promise. After all, they were trying to teach you responsibility that would come in handy later in life. Kids toys are great for stirring memories.

Your excitement grew as every day passed, knowing that Christmas was coming near. You looked at all the presents under the tree because you knew the size of the gift you dreamed of and which presents came close to the size you wanted. Kids toys give you the excitement in life that your future is actually made of. The day finally arrived and maybe you came down the stairs before anyone else was awake in the house. There were even more presents under the tree than there were last night before you went to bed. How can that be? You stopped believing in Santa Clause several years ago, but now there is some sense of question because you had searched everywhere in the house mom and dad might have been able to hide your presents.

The gift opening began and you continued to hope the kids toys you were dreaming about would be yours as you opened the gifts. The best kinds of kids toys are those that make memories. Whether it is electronics, building toys, coloring, sewing, model cars, toy trains, dolls, kits or computers, the toy that is the best is the one your child loves. He or she will spend the rest of their lives thinking about Christmases past, so you know you want the gifts you give to be special for them.

Kids toys are important. They are not just something to put under the tree so it seems like there are lots of presents to open. Give some thought to it and buy gifts that you know your child will enjoy. Toys that require use of motor skills for younger children will help them develop their abilities. Christmas is a great time.
