Ben and Holly's Castle Toy Review
by Milo Bouer
The highly anticipated Top Christmas Toys list has recently been announced and a key trend is for toys and sets inspired by popular kids TV shows. One of the most favoured programmes is Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom and the Ben and Holly's Castle set has recently been released ahead of Christmas.
Holly is a fairy and she is the main characters alongside Ben. Holly likes to use magic despite the risk of things going wrong. Her parents are King and Queen Thistle and her best friend is, of course, Ben.
Ben is an elf and the other main character alongside Holly. His parents are Mr. & Mrs. Elf. He lives in the Great Elf Tree with the Wise Old Elf, who lives at the top!
The turret-shaped castle set opens up to reveal lots of magical features and fun-filled rooms - just like the ones featured in the hit cartoon! There's a kitchen with fridge and cauldron, bedroom with bed and chest, a living room with two sofa chairs plus a TV set and a bathroom with bubble-filled bath!
With six featured mini figures from the Ben and Holly show, including Princess Holly and Ben Elf, plus King Thistle, Queen Thistle, Nanny Plum and Gaston the Ladybird - so there's plenty of magical fun to be had and to add to that, the playset comes with Holly's magical wand, which with a simple wave, can complete chores around the castle - as if by magic!
With Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom being such a favoured show amongst young children, the new Ben and Holly's Castle set is sure to be a big hit this Christmas!
